BushTracks Eco Tours

Located in Agnes Water

Traveller’s Rest 1770 is a family-owned nature-campground located on the outskirts of Eurimbula National Park, in the beautiful beachside town of Agnes Water/1770, Queensland! The campground is run with passion and care by Mike and Michi who’s vision it is to connect People with Nature, and Nature to People! The spacious powered and unpowered sites are surrounded by native bushland, allowing an abundance of wildlife to call Traveller’s Rest 1770 their home. Our well-maintained amenities add an extra bit of comfort to the only Ecotourism certified Nature-Campground on the Discovery Coast! Our guests start their day with calls of Kookaburra’s, nestled in tall Gumtrees and settle by their campfire at night to enjoy clear views of the night sky. Traveller’s Rest 1770 invites their guests to immerse themselves in a truly restful camping experience on their 44-acres property – far enough away from the hustle of town but close enough to enjoy a trip to Lady Musgrave Island – the Gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef.

Experience the bespoke bushland boardwalk, meandering along a carefully chosen path and inviting you to tune into a natural harmony of bird calls, rustling leaves and gentle breezes. The bushland boardwalk can be accessed by wheelchairs and prams, and the spacious undercover BBQ Area offers a generous space for shade, rest and wildlife observations.

One of the biggest drawing cards for our Enterprise is BushTracks Eco Tours, the only Ecotourism certified Tour on the Southern Great Barrier Reef!

Happy Customers

We had a fantastic experience at Bushtracks! Mike is a very knowledgeable guide and he shared so much with us! I feel very lucky to have been on this tour. I could taste bushtucker and learn to recognise them and how to know if they're safe to eat. I learned a lot about our local flora and fauna and this knowledge is now with me every time I am in the bush. How cool! I had family visiting from overseas and it was an awesome experience for them to get local knowledge about our flora and fauna. Very grateful for Mike for choosing to pass on what he knows to others and creating these tours 🙏

An excellent bush tucker and medicine tour. Mike is a good communicator and has a vast range of knowledge. The landscape is sensational and the walk is flat and on boardwalk and wheelchair accessible. Mike also offers powered and non powered caravan sitesl
